After a decade of business, we are as excited about your visit with us as the day we opened our doors. We are proud to be ranked one of the top horseback riding stables with some of the most beautiful trails in the New River Gorge area. We extend a warm invitation to those who have not joined us in the past. We strive to deliver a pleasant visit whether you want to horseback ride, do a wagon ride, or just bring the “little ones” by to see the horses. Watch our horses get a new set of shoes or watch the draft team get “dressed” for an evening tour. Smiles are what make our business worthwhile. All of our horseback trips are guided and each person is matched with a horse or one of our draft mules according to riding experience. New River Trail Rides is a great place to try horseback riding for the first time and a pre-trip orientation will explain your trip and tips while you are in the saddle. Our patient staff is more than willing to spend time to make your first horseback trip special. Scout groups, church youth programs and all non-profit organizations are welcome.
